East Fife 1-1 Stenhousemuir- Match Report

Last updated : 16 April 2011 By DSG

Stephen Murray netted a dramatic last-minute equaliser as Stenhousemuir boosted their Division Two survival hopes with a 1-1 draw at East Fife.

Stenny remain in the relegation play-off place but are now just four points behind Alloa with three games to play.

The visitors could have gone ahead in the 15th minute but Stuart Love nodded the ball straight into a grateful Michael Brown's hands from close range before Grant Anderson had a goal ruled out for offside.

Scott Durie handed Fife a 56th-minute lead with virtually their first clear-cut opportunity but the Warriors continued to attack and deservedly levelled in the 90th minute when Murray found the top corner with an unstoppable free-kick from long range.
