Blue Brazil are summit special

Cowdenbeath remained top of the Second Division following their comfortable 4-0 win over East Fife.

Loanee Jordan Morton broke the deadlock before second-half goals from player-manager Colin Cameron, Mark Ramsay and Marc McKenzie ensured the hosts extended their unbeaten run to eight games.

Morton, on loan from Hearts, scored his sixth goal of the season in the 10th minute, rifling the ball into the top corner from 30 yards.

The Blue Brazil, who last conceded at home in October, should have been pegged back moments later but John Ovenstone blazed over from close range.

Cameron added a second on the hour mark, driving home from the edge of the box before fellow midfielder Ramsay grabbed a third 15 minutes from the end with a cool finish from 12 yards.

Ramsay then turned provider for McKenzie to tap in and round off proceedings in stoppage time.
