Forfar V East Fife at Station Park - Match Preview

As you were for Douglas

Forfar's former Scotland goalkeeper Rab Douglas will keep his place against East Fife as Darren Hill is still out with a thumb injury.

Faroe Island international Odmar Faero is included after re-joining the club recently, but Keith Gibson has joined Tayport Juniors on loan to get game-time following knee surgery.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "We're still not the team we can be, but we are getting there.

"A good confident display and three points from East Fife will help take us closer to where we want to get to.

"East Fife are improving every week, so we know that we are in for a really tough afternoon."

The Fifers will look to avoid a third defeat of the season at the hands of their hosts and have both Gary Thom and Scott McBride available after suspension.

Paul Willis remains sidelined and long-standing plans to sign former Hearts striker Christian Nade have been abandoned due to registration issues.

Manager Willie Aitchison said: "We played Forfar three weeks ago in the Scottish Cup and were unlucky to lose.

"We passed the ball around well, but never applied the finishing touch.

"It was a similar story against Stranraer last weekend where poor finishing cost us points.

"Hopefully we can put that right against Forfar this time out."
