East Fife V Stranraer at Bayview Stadium - Match Preview

Brown looks to continue strong start

East Fife go looking for win number four out of five games under new manager Billy Brown when Stranraer visit on Tuesday night.

Collin Samuel and Robert Sloan are both in line for starting positions after helping turn a two-goal deficit against Ayr on Saturday into a 3-2 win when they came on as substitutes.

However, missing for the Fifers are the injured Michael Brown, Darren McCormack, Paul McManus and Gareth Wardlaw.

Brown said: "Whilst it was good to win again we played really poorly in the first half and Ayr could have been more than two ahead. Stranraer had a great result on Saturday so we have to play well for the full 90 minutes to win again."

Stranraer boss Stephen Aitken has a full squad to choose from.

The Blues will be boosted by Saturday's 3-2 success over Alloa, which lifted them off the foot of the table for the first time since September.

Aitken said: "It is never nice to see your team at the bottom of the table so it was great to move off it with a terrific performance and win over Alloa.

"However, we are only one result from going back there so we are not getting over excited at the moment.

"East Fife are on a great run at the moment and coming back from two down to win at a tough venue at Ayr shows that there is a lot of spirit in their camp."
