Youngsters Ally Love and Mark McLellan have returned to St Mirren and defenders Steven Thomson and Scott Fusco remain out on loan.
The match is subject to a 1000 GMT pitch inspection.
East Fife manager John Robertson: "The volunteers have done a great job clearing the pitch so I will see who turns up and take things from there.
"It is not ideal but I would imagine that Stenhousemuir are in much the same boat."
Stenhousemuir manager John Coughlin: "East Fife have certainly been boosted the introduction of John Robertson but we have the players that are capable of taking something from this game.
"We have Alex Williams available and that always gives you the chance of nicking a goal."
