Quartet in line for East Fife bows

East Fife will give debuts to four players against Forfar.

Kevin Rutkiewicz and Kevin Smith will feature for the first time since being signed permanently and loan recruits Marc McKenzie from Cowdenbeath and Stephen O'Neil from Aberdeen are also set to make bows.

Gary Thom is suspended and Scott McBride (groin), Nathan Austin (knee) and Pat Clarke (shoulder) all miss out through injury.

Boss Gary Naysmith said: "We have brought in a good mix of experience, quality and energy. We will need them to integrate quickly as Forfar look to be gearing up for a run towards a play-off place."

Forfar striker Paul McManus has moved on to Arbroath, however everyone else in the Station Park squad is available as the Loons look for win number five of the season over the Fifers.

Manager Dick Campbell is hoping that his side reproduce the performance they displayed when they lost 2-0 to Rangers on Monday.

Campbell said: "We received a lot of plaudits for our display against Rangers, however we got no points for it.

"At this stage of the season you want points and hopefully that is what we will get from this visit to East Fife."
