East Fife V Forfar at Bayview Stadium - Match Preview

Fifers and Loons look to get going

East Fife are able to add fit-again defender Gary Naysmith to their squad when they entertain Forfar.

Stevie Campbell and Kyle Wilson are also in contention for playing roles after returning to action following knocks during a reserve game in midweek, while Robbie Neilson is also included after agreeing a player/coach role at the club. Christian Nade remains absent due to a knee injury.

Manager Willie Aitchison said: "We played each other at the start of the season in the Ramsdens Cup and they beat us.

"We have improved since then and this game will tell us by how much."

Forfar will look to gain their first league win of the season at East Fife and manager Dick Campbell will only finalise his side after handing a fitness test to Ross Campbell.

Knee injuries keep out Mark McCulloch and Keith Gibson while an ankle problem results in Martyn Fotheringham's continued absence.

Campbell said: "It is time for Forfar to get going in the league. We have had a couple of disappointments and know we should have more points so we are looking forward to putting that right.

"We are not far away from being a good side and hopefully things will come together at East Fife."
