East Fife v Brechin City

Last updated : 18 February 2011 By BBC Sport

Brechin's Paul McLean is banned but fellow defender Ewan Moyes may feature if he recovers from a virus in time.

Gerry McLauchlan and Rory McAllister return from suspension but injured midfielder Charlie King remains on the sidelines for Jim Weir's side.

East Fife manager John Robertson: "I will need to bring in a couple of kids which it is not ideal for the visit of a strong Brechin side, but come three o'clock on Saturday we will be nice and positive and looking for the three points.

"You can never relax in this league and it has been one step forward and one back for East Fife during most of this season.

"Hopefully we can make a step forward against Brechin and then do the same against Ayr in midweek and move up the table."

Brechin City manager Jim Weir: "I have asked the players to show that we are up for the challenge of chasing Livingston all the way by winning at East Fife.

"That will set us up really nicely for meeting Gary Bollan's side on Tuesday."
