East Fife V Alloa at Bayview Stadium - Match Preview

Fifers looking to turn corner

Relegation threatened East Fife have Darren McCormack out through a ban as the look to end a 14-match winless run against play-off bound Alloa.

Stevie Campbell faces a late fitness test after a leg knock.

Manager Billy Brown is looking to move on following last Saturday's 2-1 defeat from Stenhousemuir, after which his angry press conference become an internet hit.

He said: "I was disappointed last week as we missed chances and let in soft goals and that is something that has happened too often this season. However we will start afresh against Alloa and look to put things right.

"They are a good strong side but if we are to climb away from ninth place we have to win against strong sides in our next three games."

Alloa have a full squad with no injury or suspension worries.

Manager Paul Hartley has warned the Fifers that there will be no slowing down against them despite the Wasps being assured of a play-off place.

Hartley said: "We are playing well just now so I will not be making any changes that could upset our run of form.

"I am sure that East Fife will have a reaction after their manager's interview last week and they need the points so we have to play well to get on top.

"We may already be in the play-offs but there will be no let up as I want us to finish in second place and go into the play-offs with momentum behind us."
