Dream debut for O'Neill

Debutant Stephen O'Neill bagged the winner as East Fife came from behind to beat Forfar 2-1 to move further clear of the bottom two.

The on-loan Aberdeen midfielder struck with 17 minutes remaining as the hosts stretched the gap to ninth-placed Arbroath to six points.

Forfar, who had won two of their last three going into the fixture, took the lead on the half-hour mark when Gavin Swankie fired into the top corner for his sixth goal of the campaign.

Marc McKenzie, another debutant, was credited with the home side's equaliser three minutes into the second half after his effort took a huge deflection on its way past Robert Douglas.

O'Neill then scored the decisive goal with 17 minutes remaining as he tapped in from close range following good work from McKenzie.
