Millar goal lifts Stenhousemuir off the bottom

Stenhousemuir climbed off the bottom of Ladbrokes Scottish League One after edging a 1-0 win at home to fellow strugglers Stranraer.

Kieran Millar scored his first of the season with a powerful finish in the 68th minute shortly after the hosts had a goal disallowed for offside.

The result sees the Warriors climb one point above Stranraer, who have now lost two games on the bounce.

Leighton McIntosh scored and was sent off for Peterhead as they kept themselves away from the bottom two with an unlikely 1-0 win away at high-flying Alloa.

Alloa, who remain second in the table, were looking to close the gap on Livingston at the top after the leaders saw their clash with Albion Rovers postponed, but fell behind to McIntosh's 49th-minute strike.

The striker was then sent off for two yellow cards, but the visitors clung on to claim a vital three points.

Airdrie drew level with Alloa after a late Jack Leitch goal snatched a point in a 2-2 draw.

They took the lead through Andy Ryan's effort just before the half hour, but Jason Kerr's header made it level at the break.

Ross Brown headed the visitors into the lead before Leitch grabbed a late goal to share the points.
