A VAST IMPROVEMENT

With confidence low around Bayview at the moment not many would have predicted a home win with league leaders Peterhead visiting.

East Fife looked sharper and hungrier than the Northerners and came close on several occasions but found Paul Mathers on good form. Robbie Raeside was also in control at the back for Peterhead and he opened the scoring with a firm header.

East Fife dominated the 2nd half and were caught out with a sucker punch late in the game.

Overall a better performance with the players showing great fight and determination. Some more please...
